Leviathan Wilds Deepvale
Leviathan Wilds Deepvale takes us deep into the land of giants, where new challenges await us. Mechanically, it may not change the gameplay too much, but at least it gives us additional content for one of my favorite cooperative games.

I’ll start with the most important thing, namely the Leviathans. This time, we will face seven beasts that we will have to heal with our own fists.

The first colossus we encountered was a giant cockroach, from whose entrails we had to steal a magical artifact. Kind of like dungeons and bowels.
Next, we faced a techno-Viking skeleton that focused on one player.
Later, we healed a porcupine that changed the conditions for climbing on its body.

In the next battle, we went to a dwelling that rotated its limbs to create new paths for climbing.

The fifth colossus needed to be dewormed. Incidentally, it reminded me of the head from Slay the Spire.

The penultimate boss was a lizard that inhabited lava cave. To defeat it, you had to ride it like a cowboy in the Wild West.

At the very end, gravity awaited us with Sandra Bullock. We couldn’t figure out who was falling and who was climbing, but it was fun. Mechanically, it was one of the more complex leviathans.
As you can see, in terms of bosses, it is as diverse as ever. The one that stuck in my memory the most is the dwelling place that required constant turning of paths and finding the right moment to climb.

The latest addition to the expansion is a new hero and a new character class.
Edge (not the one from U2) allows you to focus at the cost of a slight loss of balance. The skill itself may not be that great, but he has a very useful card that allows him to add an action point to someone, strike, or regain balance by choosing two of these three options.

The Harvester character class collects energy on a special dice. When it reaches its limit, we get an additional double-sided card that allows us to teleport or hit a crystal very hard. This allowed us to make a really cool play.

Summary
For me, it’s still a great cooperative game in which we are constantly involved in the gameplay and helping each other. The Leviathan Wilds Deepvale expansion simply takes cooperation to new heights by adding new leviathans and increasing the number of character combinations to 81.
Maybe this expansion doesn’t bring anything new to the mechanics of the game itself, but I don’t feel the need for it. The variety it provides is enough for me.
Final verdict: I just love Leviathan Wilds and I’m eagerly awaiting more expansions and the development of the world of these mighty colossi.
